To start conservation of biodiversity in an area degraded due to human interventions. Few steps to initiate are: 1. Protect the place from people. 2. Identify the rootstock and let it emerge 3. Conserve the small grooves with local biodiversity if any 4. Find a very big and old tree if existing as Mother Tree and let is exist with other local species forever. 5. You could plan mostly the local species in the nursery, due to climate change only they could survive when you cannot irrigate them by chance. 6. Bring some forest soil and place underneath the existing plants, so that soon the local microbial life spreads. 7. Promote maximum biodiversity and density of species in the open land, (in one of my centers, I have 150 species of plants in an area of half acre land) (* If it is okay for you, make the place a nature conservation spiritual center, write a constitution for the place, with vision and goals and an apt name - I call my centres as Geo Spirit centers).
